anime | evangelion 2.0 you can (not) advance

if you're a big evangelion fan like myself you probably know what this is about right? if you're not ... well, let me just elucidate you.

Neon genesis evangelion was originally an anime series from 1995 (i know that the manga started earlier BUT it was only the creator's, Anno Hideaki, idea to promote the series). It is so good (my personal opinion of course) and popular and has a brutal multi-billion dollar franchise, that they decided to remake/re-imagine it in a tetralogy (4 movies :P) with the help of modern animation techniques.
This is the first trailer for the second movie of this Rebuild of Evangelion and it's brilliant! With a version of fly me to the moon in the background (as always)...

If you don't like it, let me tell you that you don't know jack Schitt! :P

I saw the first movie (evangelion 1.0 you are (not) alone) and loved it, still i'm against a tiny little thing that they took from the original series and I think is crucial... but oh well, that's for another post.

it seems it's a feel good kind of movie, completely lovey dovey, but it has that childish/dreamy quality that makes me wanna see it. Oh and just ignore the voiceover in the trailer.

Starring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Summer and Tom, 500 Days of Summer is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Marc Webb, of only a few music videos previously. The screenplay was co-written by first-time writers Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. This just premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this week to a standing ovation. Fox Searchlight will be bringing 500 Days of Summer to theaters everywhere on July 24th this upcoming summer.
